Hi! Daniel here!

I've been a visual artist since my teenage years and working as a graphic designer since 2006. In 2009, along with two great friends, I founded Vorko Design. The studio was, perhaps, the greatest joy of my career. With a meteoric rise, we were on covers of magazines, we were invited as guest speakers, had a great time at numerous design events and showcased our artworks in exhibitions. This was a short-lived story —only 3 years— but it was enough to be sure I was on the right track. Since then, I have started another design studio and from 2015 onwards I have been working full time as a freelance senior designer.

I'm Brazilian, born in Belo Horizonte, lived in Rio for a couple of years and since 2016 São Paulo is where I call home. Walking through the streets of the city, I found myself also a photographer, completing the designer-illustrator-photographer triad. I love this profession and believe that we do something very important when we help other companies and entrepreneurs to thrive in their ventures. I live with my dear girlfriend and we have a dog, Zé. My interests include wandering around aimlessly, listening to good music and being able to be in the company of my friends. A simple life is a good life.

On this other website I carry out some experiments in curating my creations, organizing ideas, seeking to better understand what inspires me with the freedom to leave aside the concreteness of design to enjoy the abstract beauty of artistic thought.
